Section 8 Subsidy Payment Changes – DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS MARCH 15TH

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is changing the way they do business to online only.

This means that the 22,000 property owners who receive Section 8 subsidy payments by paper check via the mail will have to register online and set up direct deposit. Landlords can go to the NYCHA website and follow the Section 8 Assistance link on the left to page where they can register at the Landlord Extranet or click here.

Once registered, submit the Direct Deposit Enrollment Form. Registered landlords will also be able to submit lease renewals, Certifications of Completed Repairs as well as check updates for service requests and view tenant information.
