CO Detector Legislation

Many owners have gotten complaints from tenants about beeping carbon monoxide detectors, which indicates that their useful life has expired. Legislation passed in the City Council on December 19, 2011 will allow owners to replace these failed detectors and be reimbursed for the cost, up to $25.00, by the tenant.
