The annual deadline for filing apartment registrations with the DHCR is July 31.
The Rent Code Amendments of 2014 placed restrictions on filing amended registrations for prior years and set forth a procedure to obtain an Administrative Determination in order to obtain approval to file an amended registration.
However, there is a workaround:
An amended Intial/Annual registration will be considered timely and accepted for filing through July 31 of the following registration year.
